J.D. Reager
We’ve known Memphian J.D. Reager for over twenty years. He went to school with Trace and Jonathan, and had formed one of his first bands, Population 70, while we were trying to make the henrys work. Eventually, he joined the henrys, and contributed not only his superb drumming, but his excellent songwriting as well. We worked with him again in 1998 on the Bishop project at Easley-McCain studios, after which Jonathan and Fred started The Rockwells and moved to Knoxville.
J.D. went on to work with several bands, including Pezz, Snowglobe, and Glossary. He’s also been a prolific solo artist; one of our first mixing projects was his his Solo debut album, The Repechage. J.D.’s consummate musicianship continues unabated to this day.
